Website Developer

If you're passionate about the web and enjoy the challenges of developing websites, then we'd like you to join our team.

You will be responsible for developing interfaces for client websites. A typical day would have you working on new HTML/CSS/Javascript layouts for websites. We utilize NPM, gulp, and build scripts in our daily work so experience with Node.js, npm, gulp and PostCSS is desired.

You will also be part of building out new websites with content provided by our clients as well as making updates and improvements to existing client websites. Because most of our clients use our CMS, you'll be using it a lot to build and edit their websites.

Experience with developing responsive websites is a must as all of the sites that we build are mobile-friendly and utilize responsive design techniques.

You should also have experience with Javascript, jQuery and jQuery plugins. However, being able to write your own Javascript code without relying upon jQuery is ideal. Not every project has it, but some projects require a lot of custom Javascript.

We use a custom framework called Cacao for almost all of our websites. It's based on Suit CSS and enables us to have a consistent starting point for new websites.

Design experience is a bonus. Our approach to design is to "design in the browser". If this fits with you definitely let us know.

Tell us about you.
